Specifications of API 5CT H40 Pipe OCTG
The grade H40 pipe oil well drilling casing pipe adopts the first group of relatively high steel grade on basis of the API 5CT H40  pipe standard. Its whole coupling is sprayed with the white paint. On the coupling body, there is a white bar.
 
API 5CT H40 Pipe is for general purpose pipe manufactured to API specification 5CT. The mechanical properties are as below:
Material H40,k55, or other required steel grade
Outer Diameter 4 1/2″-20″, (114.3-508mm)
Wall Thickness 5.12-16.13mm
Forms of Thread BTC,LTC,STC
Function It serves to protect the oil pipe.
Minimum Yield Strength: 40,000 psi
Maximum Yield Strength: 80,000 psi
Minimum Tensile Strength: 60,000 psi
